Jumpy Jumpy

It sure didn't take long for Coleson to bounce back!

Our traumatic day

Yesterday was not a very good day for Coleson at all. He turned 6 months old and I took him for his check up and shots. The doctor’s office was packed with kids getting ready to go back to school so it took a while to see the doctor. He finally came in and checked him out and everything looked great. The nurse came in and gave him his three shots and we were on our way home. Dinner was in the crock pot so Dennis and I ate. We always put Coleson in his highchair beside us to play and then we feed him. I fed him and after he was done Dennis took the tray off to clean it up. He was strapped in so I walked to the garbage can to throw away the containers. I heard a loud pop and looked back and Coleson had fallen out of the highchair and did a face plant into our ceramic tile. I FREAKED OUT. Coleson was screaming and Dennis ran over and picked him up. His little nose was bleeding so I told Dennis to put him in the car seat and we took him to Baptist. My parents, sister, and brother-in-law met us there. The staff was GREAT and super nice. They took us back immediately and made a room for Coleson. They were packed with all the wrecks from the rain, so I was very thankful that we went straight back. A doctor came in to see us within 30 minutes and said everything looked ok but wanted to do a CT scan to make absolute sure. The results came back negative which was awesome news. They even went down as far as his nose to check it out. He has no broken bones. Just a bruise across his nose. The Lord was definitely watching over my sweet baby yesterday. It was a long night for me as I checked on him just about every hour. Dennis is at home with him today. I am sure that Coleson is exhausted from all the trauma he went through. The ER room did get a little better when my friend Sarah came down. She had just gotten to work in Labor and Delivery. This was her first time to meet Coleson. I sure hated that it had to happen this way but she got to love on him for a minute.

Happy Half Birthday, Coleson!

I CAN NOT believe that my sweet baby boy is 6 months old already. We are half way to ONE! He has been such a joy in our life and we are so very thankful for him. He is so much fun right now and is about to start getting into everything.

He went to the doctor today.
Weight: 17 lbs. 10 oz.
Height: 2 ft. 4 in.
Head cm: 48

He is changing so much everyday. Here are a few things that he is doing right now.
- he is eating two jars of #2 baby food and likes them all so far
- he is in a size 3 diaper
- he is sitting up by himself
- he is trying to crawl and gets frustrated when he can’t
- he wants to drink out of our cup every time he sees it
- he drinks juice out of a sippy cup
- he blows bubbles all the time
- he coos at us constantly
- he loves Rascal and watches him all the time
- he loves playing in his exersaucer
- and of course he is SPOILED ROTTEN

Happy Half Birthday, Coleson. Momma, Daddy, Abbey, and Brandon love you so much!

My funny little boy!

This is Coleson's new favorite noise to make. It cracks me up. Please excuse the sounds I make trying to get him to keep doing it. Oh and sorry for the moving video. He kept trying to grab the camera.

How cute is she?

This is a dress that I made for this little girl. Did it turn out cute on her or what? I just love it. Email me at designs.stephanie@gmail.com for details. Thanks Jennifer for letting me make it for her.

Don't turn your back on Coleson...

This is what happens. I had just got through feeding him last night and I turned to get a towel to wipe his face. This is what I found when I turned back around. I normally feed him in his highchair but Dennis but him in his bumbo for a change. I think I will go back to the highchair from now on.

I lost a tooth!

Brandon lost his first tooth tonight. ues, I am aware that he doesn't have any top teeth, but the dentist pulled one and he knocked the other out. So, this is the first tooth that has been ready to come out. He was so excited.

Sippy Cup

I decided to get Coleson a sippy cup because anytime he sees a cup he wants to take a drink out of it. It didn't take much teaching. He knew right away to grab the handle, put it in his mouth, and turn the cup up. He is getting to be such a big boy way to fast.

Fourth of July Weekend

Wow! What a busy weekend we had. I am exhausted to say the least. Our weekend started out with a birthday party Friday afternoon for Anneliese. She had a Hello Kitty party at her house. Abbey and Brandon had a great time sliding down the giant waterslide.

We ate lunch at my parents house Saturday. My family came down from Cleveland. I didn't get any pictures of Abbey and Brandon. They were way to busy to stop for a photo shoot!!

We cooked out with some friends Saturday evening and shot fireworks. We had a great time and ate some good food. This is Coleson's first friend. Stella Grace was born about 3 weeks before Coleson. It was great having a friend pregnant at the same time. There was always someone to talk to. Stella Grace and Coleson are going to have so much fun growing up together.

Sweet Babies!

I attempted to get a picture of all three of our children and this was the best I could get.

Brandon and Sadie Leigh swinging.

Isn't she just the cutest thing ever?

Thank you Scotty, Valerie and Tanner for my bib. I loved it and it was perfect for the weekend.

Today, my nephew Taylor, turned 13. He had a cookout at his house to celebrate. Happy Birthday, Taylor! We hope you had a great day and we love you!!
