Takin' a Ride....

Coleson loves his new wagon that Pappy and Grammie gave him. Abbey was giving him a ride in it this afternoon around the house. He would sit in it for hours if we would let him. Such a sweet little boy!

11 Months

I CAN NOT believe that in a month my baby will be a year old. It is crazy how times flies. This time last year I was waddling around for sure. He is such a joy and this has been the most amazing year of my life.

Things about you:
- You weigh 22 pounds.
- wear a size 4 diaper
- wear 12-18 month clothes
- You are completely on table food and you like everything.
- You are on whole milk and completely off formula (halleluiah!!).
- You have 6 teeth.
- You babble all the time saying “MaMa”, “DaDa”, “BaBa” and “LaLa”.
- You stand up on everything. Your favorite spot is the dishwasher.
- You love the bathtub. You like to splash but don’t like to get splashed.
- You like to throw a fit if you don’t get your way.

The birthday party planning is definitely on the top of my list now that we are just a few weeks away. Just a little sneak peak of the theme. It has been so much fun to plan.

Dennis built a fire in the fire pit on the back patio last night after supper so we roasted marshmallows. They were so good and it was fun to sit and relax by the fire.

Coleson loves his sock monkey that Grammie and Pappy gave him for Christmas. He holds it while he sleeps until I take it away from him before I go to bed.

Today is my Friday at work. It will be nice to have a few days off to rest from all the Christmas fun and get ready for year 2010. A little TLC with the kids is always nice too!

P.S. - Like my background? Abbey picked it out the other night for me. Thanks Abbey! It was a great choice.

Here is a video of Abbey and Brandon riding their new Razors. These look like a lot of fun!

Christmas

Santa was good to the kids again this year. We woke up early to see what he brought. A few pictures below of some of the gifts.

Then we went to Cleveland to see my family.

Then it was back to Madison to have Christmas with Grammie, Pappy, Aunt Bethany and Uncle Preston.

Sunday we opened gifts with Nanny, Dee, Dee, Chloe, and Taylor.

We hope everyone had a great Christmas. The best gift I got was getting to spend time with my husband, children and family. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to everyone for all of our gifts. We are so blessed!!!

Christmas Eve

What a busy but awesome day we had. Coleson was giving Abbey lots of kisses this morning.

We started out by letting the kids open gifts from Dennis and I.

Then we spent a little time this afternoon resting. Abbey dressed Coleson up. He will not like this pictures one day.
Then it was off to Dennis's grandmothers house for more gift opening. The kids love Christmas at Ma's house. The get EXACTLY what they write on their list.

A Family pic

a picture of all the cousins

We came home and put reindeer food out for Santa and his reindeers. Our sweet neighbors joined in on the fun.
Merry Christmas to everyone. We hope Santa is good to you and brings you lots of goodies. Oh the joys of being a kid.

We couldn't forget....

about opening a gift early. So we went to Winners Circle last night to see Santa Claus but he wasn't there. We went and ate supper at McAlister's and then rode around and looked at Christmas light's. Brandon couldn't wait to get home to get his hands on...

this!!!

His new gun. He was so excited and can't wait to shoot it.

Then it was time to open the early bird gift. A Christmas can't go by without this tradition. Just ask my dad. :)

Brandon got Battleship and Abbey got a CD.

Coleson was already in the bed so he will have to participate next year. I don't think he really knows whats going on anyways. We played Battleship last night and I am headed off to play again this morning. The boys won all three times last night so the girls are taking them down today!!

Is Santa Real?

That is the question we got from this little guy Sunday night.

Our response? OF COURSE HE IS!!! You know what happens when you stop believing.... no more presents. Brandon said, "Oh! I still believe. Some people at my school said he wasn't real." :(

Bulldogs come to Jackson....

Last night we met Grammie and Pappy at Keifer's to eat supper before we headed off to see the bulldogs play basketball.

They come to Jackson every December and we always try and go. Tickets in Starkville are just about impossible to get. Coleson loves to watch his bulldogs play.

Thank you Mrs. Doris for my outfit. It looked so cute on me and I got tons of compliements.

Tonight begins the Christmas fun at the Steed's house. The kids get to open gifts 7 times between now and Saturday night. I know, crazy right? But we are so blessed to have so much family to spend Christmas with. I will be worn out but will have had a ton of fun!
Merry Christmas to all!

Beep Beep... Coming through

Another great weekend has come and gone. Dennis went to a friend of his deer camp Friday night and hunted all day Saturday. Coleson and I hung out with Grammie and we went to Vicksburg for the day. Last night Dee Dee, Chloe and Taylor came over and ate supper with us. Chloe and Abbey were pushing Coleson around in his big dump truck. He enjoyed sitting in it and riding around. I can’t believe his first Christmas is in just 3 days. I am curious to see how he will do opening gifts.
