5 months old

Coleson turned 5 months old yesterday. I can’t believe how big he is getting and how much he changes everyday.

A few things that he does right now:
- He is rolling over from front to back and back to front.
- He is no longer sleeping swaddled up. I stopped this about a week ago.
- He grabbed his foot this morning. I’m not sure if it was an accident or not.
- He is still not real big on eating baby food. Hopefully he will eventually start eating it good.
- He is trying to sit up on his own. He pulls up in his car seat and bouncer and he wants to
sit up in your lap.
- He is getting more spoiled everyday.

Abbey's Tournament in Ellisville

After Brandon's games Friday night, we headed to Ellisville for Abbey's tournament Saturday morning. We decided to go down the night before to keep from having to get up so early. As you can see, all the girls love Coleson. He is so spoiled rotten and I love it!

Brandon's Clinton Tournament

Brandon's baseball team played again in Clinton this past weekend. It started Thursday night and they won that game. They played again Friday and lost two games so they were done. It was so hot at the games Friday.

I love my jumperoo!

Coleson plays in his jumperoo every morning while I am getting ready for work. He really enjoys playing in it and it entertains him while I get dressed. It plays music when he moves.

Abbey's Vicksburg Tournament

Abbey played tournament ball in Vicksburg this weekend. We had to go down Friday night for the first two games, Saturday afternoon for one game and then back Sunday morning for one game. We had a very busy weekend but it sure was nice to have most of Sunday free. The bottom picture is Coleson hanging out in a rocking chair in a store. The rocking chair looks huge compared to him.

A Year Ago....

TODAY I found out that I was going to have this cute little thing! It was Father's Day so it was a great gift for Dennis. It is so hard to believe that it has already been a year since I found out. We are so thankful to have a sweet, heathly baby!

Another All-Star Tournament

Brandon had another tournament this weekend in Jackson. I went to the game Thursday night and Saturday night and watched him. I hated to miss on Friday and Saturday but Abbey had games in Vicksburg. More pictures of her game to come soon. I LOVE the picture above that was taken. Thanks Shanda for all your hard work at the games. I love looking at all the pictures you take.

Partying It Up....

Tuesday night, Brandon's all star team had a little get together to help everyone get to know each other. We had a great time and the kids had a blast. We all pitched in and rented a blow up water slide. The kids also got to fish. That is Abbey's foot sticking up from the water in the bottom picture. I didn't catch her in time.

Baseball Camp

Brandon went to baseball camp at Millsaps last week. It was all day for a week so Brandon was worn out every night. Dennis got there a little early one day to pick him up so that he could get some pictures. There had a giant slip and slide that day to teach them how to slide into bases. It looked like a lot of fun. We need one in our back yard.

Brandon's Allstar Tournament in Clinton

Brandon had his first allstar game this weekend in Clinton. The boys had a great time and did really well. It was hot but we managed to stay cool under a tent with a fan. We have many more tournaments to come with Abbey and Brandon both playing. We are off to Vicksburg this weekend with Abbey's team.

A New Hobby

I took sewing lessons a few weeks ago and I have loved it ever since. I am making Jon Jon's and A-line dresses and I think they are turning out so cute.
These are made to match Brandon's all-star team uniform. I think they turned out so cute and I got lots of compliements on them.

Should we charge rent?

Every spring we have a bird's nest on our front porch. Every year Dennis has taken the waterhose and washed it away. This year I guess he forgot about it or felt bad washing them away. They had 5 babies and one died. We found it on the front porch. I guess it fell off the edge. We all love to watch the Momma bird bring food back to them in the late afternoon. They all four open their mouths at the same time waiting on food. It is so sweet. They have made a total mess on the front porch, but we will clean it up after they can fly. Maybe they will make another one next year.

Brandon's Team Party

We had Brandon’s baseball team party last night at the Braves game. We had a great time and the boys really enjoyed it. They got to run out on the field to the position they played when a Braves player was announced. They thought this was really cool. Coleson did really well and got a little fussy right before we left. I try and put him to bed at 9:00 every night, but it so hard when we have stuff constantly going on.
