Abbey had a school program a few months ago. She was a starfish. They play was so cute and they all did so good. Dennis and I were proud of her.

Brandon was at Abbey's school program and he wanted Dennis to take a picture of him. He thought he was BIG because he was at her school.

Valentine's Day was great this year. Dennis and I went and ate at Amerigo's Monday night. It was wonderful. We were stuffed when we left. He bought me a swimming suit and a cover up that I wanted. I bought him a pair of jeans, bowling bag, and the Curious George Soundtrack. I bought Abbey and Brandon a movie and a shirt a piece. The both loved their movie. They got me a book that I had been wanting. It was sweet of them. Dennis had to work last night, but when he finally got off he brought me chocolate covered strawberries. I had been craving them all day. Yummy! He is such a wonderful boyfriend.

Dennis, Abbey, Brandon, and I went to see Curious George at the movies this past weekend. It was great. We all loved it. Also, the music was good too. Jack Johnson did all the songs. If you have kids, I would definitely take them to see. Even adults will enjoy it. I would go and see it again.

Ok, so my roommate, Lauren, sometimes says some things that are so funny. Her boyfriend, Chad, had mailed her a package to the Post Office and she was going to pick it up yesterday after work. She calls me to get directions and I tell her you take Gallitan St. and turn left at the red light off the exit and it will be on your left a few miles up that road. So, anyway she calls me while Dennis and I are on our way to Abbey's Basketball Game in Clinton because she thinks she might be going the wrong way because she hasn't seen the sign yet. Lauren is going pretty slow because she has hit 5:00 traffic and there were tons of cars. Out of nowhere she says "Gosh, this place is pretty far away. I didn't know it was past Pearl." I'm thinking ok why is she up around Pearl. I told her that Gallitan St. wasn't around Pearl and she said well I just passed the Pearl St. sign. I started cracking up and told her that Pearl St. was a street in downtown Jackson, not the city of Pearl. She will never live this one down.

I have another receipe that I would like to share. I cooked it last night and it turned out good. It was very easy and only had a few ingredients.

Quick Chicken

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast
4 ounces Dijon mustard
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cub bacon bits
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees

- Place chicken in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Slather mustard evenly over chicken, then pour teriyaki sauce evenly over all. Sprinkle with bacon bits, then cover with cheese.

- Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

I hope everyone enjoys this.

These are some pictures of Abbey and Brandon from Christmas. They got a TON of presents. Santa must have thought they were good.

Brandon when he first saw his John Deere tractor from Santa. He was so excited. That was all he wanted for Santa to bring him.
Brandon riding his John Deere tractor. This was definitely his favorite thing he got for Christmas. He loves to ride it.
Brandon smiling BIG for the camera. He usually never smiles right for the camera. I guess that is part of being a 3 year-old little boy.
Abbey at Ma's house during Christmas. She had just opened her scooter.
Brandon at Christmas time. He was waiting to open all of his presents. He is such a sweetheart.
This is Abbey playing with her basketball goal that Santa brought her. They woke up early and wanted to go outside about 7:45. Dennis was so excited to be up and playing that early. :)
Brandon was having a blast opening Christmas presents. It was so funny because when he opened a present that he liked, he didn't care to open anymore. He wanted to play with the one he had just opened.
Santa brought Abbey a basketball goal for Christmas. It was to big to bring in the house so he left her a note on a basketball to look outside. She is an awesome little basketball player.
We were all at my parents house one day and Brandon saw that they had a John Deere lawn mower. My dad was riding him around and it ran out of gas. They were both having a blast.
Dennis and I at Christmas on his mom's side of the family.
Brandon and Chloe (Dennis's niece) waiting to open Christmas presents. They are so cute together. Chloe can be so funny.

I would like to share a recipe that I enjoy. My rommate thinks I am crazy because Dennis and I eat it all the time. It is very easy to make and doesn't take much time at all. It only calls for a few ingredients. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do.

Mexican Spaghetti

12 ounces dry spaghetti, uncooked
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 lb. ground beef
1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes in sauce, undrained
2 cans (11 oz. each) whole kernel corn with red & green peppers (Mexicorn), undrained
1 can (7 oz.) diced green chiles, undrained
1/2 cup shredded Mexican-Style cheese

- Break pasta in half. Cook according to package directions.

- Prepare taco seasoning mix with the meat in large skillet according to package directions. Stir in tomatoes with their liquid, the corn with its liquid, and the green chilies. Cook over medium heat 3 minutes, or until heated through, stirring occasionally.

- Drain pasta; place in large bowl. Add meat mixture; mix lightly. Sprinkle with cheese.
