Abbey's Bowling Party

Abbey had her birthday party Sunday at Fannin Lanes. Everyone had a really good time and Abbey got lots of good birthday presents. I was in charge of bringing her cake. Suzanne Barnette made her cake for me. It was so cute and very tasty. Give her a call if you need a cake made. You will be very happy with the way it turns out.

Abbey got a pink razor for her birthday. She was so proud of it. Brandon is really excited too. He can't wait until he turns ten so that he can get a black cell phone like his daddy. Hopefully Abbey will be able to keep up with it. So far it has been attached to her hip. We got her a swimsuit, DVD, board game, and something you throw the softball at and it comes back to you to catch.

Abbey's Birthday Celebration at Ma's...

Abbey had a GREAT birthday. We went to Ma's (her great-grandmothers) house Saturday for lunch to celebrate her birthday. She got some good gifts and a wonderful meal at lunch. We picked up her friend Sara and took her with us. Her cousins, Taylor and Chloe, were there and so was her Aunt Dee Dee (Daphne).

Happy 10th Birthday Abbey Lane!!!

Today is Abbey's 10th birthday. Her party is at the bowling alley. I will post pictures from this weekend and her party later on today. She had a friend spend the night last night and we went and ate pizza. I hope you have a wonderful day today, Pookie!!!!!

A Year Ago Today...

Dennis and I got engaged. He had told me he was working late, but he really went to Vicksburg to ask my parents. I thought he was really working so I did think anything of it. He defintely surprised me that night. It has been a great year so far. I can't wait until our one year anniversary. I love you, Dennis!

Happy Valentine's Day

Dennis and I swapped Valentine's gifts last night and this is what I got.

A Jane Hollinger bracelet. I had told him that I wanted it and I had even emailed him this picture. I guess he really does love me because I got it. :) He had given me the heart necklace last year for Valentine's Day. I got him The War DVD set. He had told me that he wanted it so that is what I got. We are going to eat at Biagi's (sp) tonight. I've been wanting to try it so hopefully it will be as good as I am hoping. Have a great day!

This past weekend we went to Mardi Gras in Monroe with my family. We had a great time and the kids got lots of beads. It was cold but once we started jumping around it warmed up a bit.

Liberty Bowl in Memphis...

This past weekend we went to the Liberty Bowl in Memphis to watch the bulldogs play. It was a fun game and of course the bulldogs WON!!! It was cold but really not as cold as you would think. Maybe we just warmed up from jumping up and down the whole game. Anyways, we had a great time and we even got to see the ducks march in at the Peabody. Abbey and Brandon enjoyed getting to see that and it was my first time to see if as well.

They must have been becasue Santa stopped by the house again this year. He left some great gifts as well. They both got Ninendo DS's and games. Abbey got some cd's for her cd player and Brandon got some transformers. They got other things as well I just can't remember all of them.

We had a great Christmas this year. The kids got tons of things. I guess thats what happens when you have so many people buying for you. We got up Christmas Eve morning and went to Vicksburg to open gifts with my parents. Abbey and Brandon love everything they got. Dennis and I appreciate everything they got us. Our video camera works great and we love it.

A few weeks ago we had breakfast with Santa. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a good time. We had pancakes and sausage to eat and even a few Mississppi Braves players ate with us. It was something different that we did.
