Baby's 1st Haircut

Coleson got his first haircut on Saturday. He did a lot better than what I had expected. I had to stand up and hold him and my mom and Abbey had to entertain him but overall he did great. He looks like such a big boy now.

Weekend Full of Fun!

We had a fun, busy weekend. Saturday Abbey had softball and Brandon had baseball practice. It was such a beautiful day and really nice to get some warm fresh air. Coleson enjoys the ballfields already. At times, I wish things were different for me there, but it is what it is. Anywho - Abbey and I enjoyed lunch with my mom and we came home to rest before a wedding in Byram. One of Dennis's friends got married so we enjoyed spending time with some old friends of his. Sunday we went to church and then to Ma's house to eat. She had a little party for Abbey.

The kids enjoyed spending time with each other

and being goofy for the camera.

Sorry for all the pictures but I can't control my self sometimes.

I wish I could capture every moment of their lives because it goes by so fast.

The family singing "Happy Birthday" to Abbey.

Brandon and Anneliese waiting on the cake to be cut.

Brandon is so sweet to his little brother. He loves to hold his hand and walk beside him.

The BIG girl getting ready to open gifts.

It is so hard to believe that this is the 5th birthday I have gotten to celebrate with Abbey.

Coleson is trying to take Abbey's bath confetti from her. Sorry Abbey! This is the first of many things he will try to take from you. We are so proud of the patience that she has with her little brothers.

Now he has spotted something Brandon has.
After Ma's, it was off to Abbey's select softball practice and then to another birthday party.

Abbey and Brandon had a great time jumping on the trampoline

and Coleson enjoyed swinging with his daddy

and having all the girls pull him in his wagon.

He was so nasty by the time we left the party. We went straight home and got in the bath tub.

We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and got to enjoy the nice spring like weather. My friend Nichole is having her baby Tuesday and I can't wait to meet her. It has been fun watching her grow for the last nine months but I can't wait any longer. Coleson is ready for a new friend at daycare.

Abbey's 12th Birthday Party

Last night we celebrated Abbey's 12th Birthday. She got to invite 5 friends to eat mexican and have a scavenger hunt. A few of them came home with us afterwards to spend the night.

Waiting on her friends

The girls....

Brandon sat with a few of his buddies that were in there. It was one of their birthdays as well so they had a good time putting whipped cream on each other.

After eating at El Sombrero, we took the girls to Target for a Scavenger Hunt. They had a blast and even wanted to find more items after the game was over. We even had employees giving them items to find. How fun!!

Flutter

Tonight Abbey had an art show that Dennis and I attended. She drew this picture in school and then her teacher choose it to be displayed with other students pictures from other Rankin County Schools. We were so proud of her.

We are so glad it is Friday at my house. Abbey and Brandon come home tonight! Whoo Hoo!

13 Months

Coleson is now 13 months old and getting bigger and braver everyday. Dennis and I were eating supper last night and we just looked at each other and shook our head. Coleson is definitely going to be the one that keeps us on our toes out of our three kids. Telling him NO doesn’t bother him at all. He just looks at us like we are crazy and keeps doing what he got in trouble for. He is VERY determined to get what he wants.
So a few things he is doing these days.
He walks about 90% of the time now. Once he started taking a few steps, it was no turning back.
He has 8 teeth. One more on the top and one more on the bottom.
He is completely on a sippy cup.
He says a few more words and can say dog and point to Rascal.
He gives big hugs especially to Abbey and Brandon when he gets to see them.
He is very clingy to Abbey when he is around her.

These pictures are a few weeks old but I love them. I am so glad that Brandon enjoys playing with Coleson and teaching him new things. They are so sweet to watch. He loves his big sister and brother and misses them so much! It has been a tough few months and we pray things will be better.

Memories Made....

I have been glued to the TV on Monday nights for the past few months watching The Bachelor. No, I was not pleased with the outcome, but I was excited when he took the girls to St. Lucia. It brought back SOO many memories from my honeymoon. It is the most romantic place I have ever been. I am so thankful that Dennis and I got to go there and spend a wonderful week relaxing and distressing from all the wedding stuff. Honeymoons are very much needed after a big wedding celebration. I hope to go back for our anniversary one day.

So here’s to memories made and many more to come….

We have a very busy weekend sneaking up on us. Lots of baseball/softball practices as well as a birthday party and wedding to attend.

To cut or not to cut?

That is the question right now? I really think it is finally time for the FIRST haircut. It really needs shaping up but I am so afraid I am going to cut all the curls off and he will look even more like a big boy. I still like the baby hair and look. I'm not real sure how Coleson will act but I think we will give it a shot on Saturday.
