My big boy shoes...

I just love these shoes on Coleson. They are for 6 weeks to 3 months so I went ahead and let him wear them today. They are a little big but we want to get Grammie and Pappy's money worth out of them. They look so cute on him!

My Bumbo Chair

I decided to try out the bumbo chair tonight to see how Coleson did. He has been so strong with his head that I figured he would do great. He actually liked it and sat there for a little while and didn't make a sound. I had first seen these chairs a few years ago when my mom and I gave one to a friend as a baby gift. I knew that I wanted one when I had baby. They now make a tray that attaches to it that will be great when he gets a little older. Thanks Grammie and Pappy for my bumbo!!

One month old

Coleson turned a month old yesterday. The time is flying by. It seems like just yesterday I was still pregnant.

Wedding Weekend

This past weekend my cousin Brady got married in Cleveland. We had the rehearsal dinner Friday night and then the wedding Saturday. Congrats Brady and Ann Marie!!

Rehearsal Dinner:
Brady, the groom, posing for Brandon. He loves to take pictures so I give him my camera and let him go at it.

Justin (my cousin) and Brandon. Brandon LOVES Justin. He is always asking about him.

My cousin Mary Margaret got up and sang a song at the rehearsal dinner.

Sweet Coleson being so good during the entire dinner.

Reception:

Dennis, Stephanie, Abbey, Brandon, and Coleson

Ann Marie and her dad

No, Justin does not need a wheel chair. We all got a kick out of him riding in this. He kept getting up on two wheels.

Bethany and Preston dancing. The band was great!

Brandon made Abbey take a picture in front of this tree.

Me and Dennis enjoying the band.

It was freezing so I wore my jacket. Great fashion statement, huh?

Our three sweet children.

My eventful morning!

What a crazy morning I have had. Dennis left for work this morning around 7:15 and took Brandon to school. Abbey is at home today with a stomach ache so we had a long night with her and Coleson woke up more than usual to make it seem even longer. I was actually glad to see day light. About 30 minutes after Dennis was out the door, I noticed that Rascal was standing at our bedroom door wanting out. I figured that Abbey had woke up so I opened the door to go and check on her. I noticed that Rascal had run to the back door and was playing with something in his mouth. This is nothing unusal so I was trying to figure out what it was. He let it go from his mouth and I started screaming. It was a SNAKE and it was slivering across my floor. Rascal kept chasing it and picking it up with his mouth. I immediately got on the phone and called Dennis and told him to come home. He said that he was already close to work which is about 30 minutes from the house that I was going to have to kill it. He told me that I had to go outside and get the hoe. I was like no way am I getting close to this thing. I go into the living room and I can't find it. I freaked out even more. I looked under the recliner (from very far away) and noticed that it was curled up dead. Dennis told me that I had to get it out from under there because if it went into the recliner we would never get it out. So I went outide and got the hoe and knocked it out from under the chair and got a plastic bowl and covered it up. By this time, Dennis was on his way home from work. :) I figued it was dead and would be ok until Dennis got home. Yeah right! Rascal moved the bowl and it started moving again. I took the hoe and put it on its back and left it there until Dennis got home. I stood there and watch it the entire time to make sure that it didn't go anywhere. I am terrified of snakes so I'm sure I acted like a fool. It wasn't that big but it was big enough for me. Dennis has it hung on a softball net outside until Brandon gets home. He would have been very upset if he didn't get to see it. Oh the things boys are interested in!!

Lots of Random Pics...

Dennis and I had our first date Friday night since Coleson was born. We went to the movies and we had a great time. Of course I missed my baby, but it was good to have some time with Dennis by myself. I said before Coleson was born that we would do this at least once a month and I am sticking to it. We still need our quality time as well. Thanks Dee Dee, Taylor, and Chloe for watching Coleson for us!

My sister loves me!

Coleson sure does love when his sister holds him and rocks him to sleep. He can't wait until she can give him his bottle this week. Yeap, we are now taking a bottle and have been for a week. I LOVE it and Coleson does too. We can't wait to see you big sister and big brother this afternoon.

Daddy Time

The other night Dennis and Coleson were having Daddy time. I looked over and this is how they were. He loves his daddy and his daddy loves him.

Taking a Bath...

This was Coleson's third bath. I forgot to get the camera out during his first bath. I guess I was a little nervous and then his second bath I did by myself. So when Grammie was here this weekend she had her camera so we were able to get a picture. He is not too sure about taking a bath yet but he is good for the most part.

Momma's Sleeping Baby

Coleson loves to sleep in my lap. It is great computer time for me. I am able to use two hands to type instead of one. He can be sound alseep like this and when I go to lay him in his bed he wakes up. How does he know that I'm not holding him anymore? We don't care what Daddy says. I think he is a momma's boy for sure and I love it!!

Lots of New Things

We were finally able to give Coleson a bath Sunday night. He did pretty good. I was so glad that the time finally came. We were having his pictures made and we changed his diaper and there his ring was just laying there. I was so excited. Dennis gave him the first one as I was a little nervous, but last night I did it all by myself while Dennis was at a meeting. Coleson also made his first trip to his Daddy's work yesterday. Everyone loved him and it was great for them to meet him. He loved being held and rocked to sleep. We sure do miss Daddy when he is at work. We love you Daddy! Hopefully we will make it to my work this week. I know everyone wants to finally meet him. They all watched him grow inside of me for so long. We also got to see Abbey and Brandon last night. It is always great to spend time with them when they aren't with us.

Happy Birthday Rascal!

Today is Rascal's one year birthday (7 in dog years). He was almost a Valentine's puppy. We are going to take him to Brusters this afternoon for a doggy ice cream. Yes, they do have a doggy treat. Sounds crazy, but Rascal loves it. Happy Birthday, Rascal!

Abbey and Brandon's Valentines to Coleson

When I picked Abbey and Brandon up today from school, Brandon handed me the above piece of paper and said that it was Coleson's Valentine. How sweet is this! I love it. It will definitely make the baby book. I hope that Brandon will be a great big brother to Coleson and teach him how to do things such as sports, etc. I hope that they are the best of friends and that Brandon takes up time with him when they are older. Abbey gave Coleson the balloon in the picture above. It was sweet of her to think about him as well. They love their little brother so much and I love watching them interact with him. If he even make a noise that sounds like crying, someone is there to scoop him up. He is a spoiled rotten little fellow!
