Coleson gave his Momma another scare this weekend. Abbey had a softball tournament and he was fine until about 1:00. I noticed that he was a little warm so I got him some medicine and it seemed to make the fever go away. Abbey's team was doing really good and had a game after dark. I decided that it was best if I went ahead and took him home. We had several late nights and he was getting fussy. I got him home and he was burning up with fever. I gave him a bath to help cool him off. I started to freak out a little and called my neighbor to see what to do. Dennis's cell phone was dead so I couldn't get in touch with him. She told me to take his temperature and it was 103. Wow! By this time I didn't know what to do so I got in touch with Dennis and he told me some things to do. I called the on call nurse and felt better after talking to her. I think I checked on Coleson every hour Saturday night. He has only had fever and lots of drool. I am sure the drool is from the 4 teeth he is cutting.
Can you tell I am a sick little boy in this picture?
He is feeling much better today and has been fever free since about 8:00 last night. Let's hope we stay that way.
Abbey and Brandon come back home tonight and we are super excited. We have a big football game this weekend and they can't wait.
