Thankful Thursday

I have so many things to be thankful for these days.

1. My Husband
I have the best husband in this entire world. I am so lucky that God has placed him in my life. Not only is he an awesome husband but he is an even better father. He is more than involved in all three of his kids lives and that makes me love him more and more everyday!

2. My Children
I am so thankful for our three beautiful children. God placed me in Abbey and Brandon's life almost 5 years ago and it has been nothing but up hill since. It brings a smile to my face everyday knowing that they love me just as much as I love them. Dennis and I were given Coleson 15 months ago and he brings so much joy and energy to us. We love all three of yall more than you will EVER know!

3. My Job
I am so glad that I have a good job to go to everyday. I enjoy the people I work with which makes it easier to leave my family for 8 hours a day.
4. My Family
Dennis and I have great families that support us in everything that with do. Without their support, some things just couldn't be done. Each and every one of them love our children just as much as we do and that makes us proud to call them our family. I have a very strong relationship with my mom and sister and that means the world to me.
5. My Friends
Friends are a very important thing to have and without them life would be pretty boring. Dennis and I love to hang out with other couples and all of their children. there is nothing better than a beautiful day with friends and great food.
These are just a few things that I am thankful for today. Happy Thursday! Friday is just around the corner. Whoo Hoo!!

Brandon's Special Day

Our weekend was a lot of fun but busy. Imagine that? We are never busy. :) Friday night we went to the MS Braves game. We went with a friend of Dennis’s and surprisingly Coleson was really good. He loves balls so he kept pointing to the ball.

Saturday morning the weather was unpredictable so we did our grocery store run. That afternoon we went to a cookout at some friend’s house and had a great time. The weather was beautiful and the food was wonderful. Sunday was a day full of softball/baseball AND a special day for Brandon. He turned 8.

We took him to eat Mexican food last night and they sang Happy Birthday to him. He LOVED it. They didn’t put whip cream on his nose like they usually do so he put some of it himself. He is such a character.

Birthday Party at Ma's

Ma had Brandon a birthday party at her house Sunday. She does this for all the kids around their birthday. They love it and look forward to it every year.

More birthday pics

Notice Abbey? Yeap, she is getting Anthony Dixon's autograph for Brandon. Brandon was excited as this is his favorite player. They are on first names basis. He calls him A.D.

"Whoa! Did you see that play?"

Even Abbey has a great time at the games. AND she knows exactly what is going on with the game. Me, not so much!

"Cheese!"

Brandon's 8th Birthday Party

We had Brandon's birthday party this weekend. It was so much fun and Brandon got RICH. We had family over for pizza and cake. He got to ask 3 friends as well. Notice the theme? Yes, I am crazy and we took 4 extra kids to the Spring Football Game in Starkville. They were all really good and we had a great time.

Home Sweet Home

Dennis left for Las Vegas on Sunday for a work trip and he comes home today. We are so excited. We have missed him TONS. He had a great time. Before he left, the girls on his select softball team gave him a little happy. They bought him a ticket to see a show while he was out there. He has been talking about wanting to see a show out there for a long time but wasn't sure if it was worth the money. After going, he said it was definitely worth what you pay. I will be leaving shortly to go pick him up from the airport.

We love you Daddy and can't wait to see you!

Softball game

Abbey had a softball game last night. She did really good and her team won by one point. I'm not real sure how I know that considering I chased Coleson around the ENTIRE time. That's the story of my life these days.

Busy Weekend

Boy, am I exhausted from this weekend. We went non-stop the entire time with very little time to even sit down. Saturday, Abbey's select softball team had a garage sale so Friday night we had a cookout and got things ready. We all had a great time and the guys told some pretty funny stories. I got in bed around midnight and was up and at it again by 6:00. The team did really good and sold a ton of stuff. Brandon had a game at 9:00 and did great. His team didn't win BUT he did hit an in the park GRAND SLAM. What!?! He was so excited and proud of himself. We had to work the concession stand for a few hours and then Abbey had practice late that afternoon. When we finally got home, I thought I was going to pass out standing up. Sunday wasn't quite as busy but both Abbey and Brandon did have practice. Coleson loves being outisde so I don't mind letting him play his little heart out.

We are having Brandon's birthday party this weekend and he can't wait. I have just a few more things get together and we will be ready to go. I hope everyone has a great week!
