Another baseball game....

Brandon had another baseball game last night and he did a great job. Dennis is so proud of the way he is playing. Of course we both are very proud of him, its just Dennis takes this sport to heart.

Abbey had fun too. She played a few games on the iPhone.
I didn't get any pictures of Coleson. That's mostly because he likes to run around like a wild man and never meets a stranger. He did good last night and only sat in one mud hole. My sweet little man in 200% BOY!!!!!

MSU Softball

Last night Abbey’s select softball team went and watched MSU play softball in Ridgeland. The girls had fun spending time together. It is always nice to get them together somewhere other than practice.

Coleson had a great time also. He played and played and played. He got a taste of his first sour punch straw which he loved. His sweet sister gave him one of hers.

(you can see the rash a little in the pic)

Coleson is finally feeling like his old self again. It was a rough few days at our house. When he woke up Tuesday morning, I noticed he looked splotchy and that a rash was forming. As the morning went on, it got worse so I gave his nurse a call. She said that it was completely normal and that he had the strep throat rash called Scarlintina. Luckily it was not contagious and he could go back to daycare. It is now going away so we are almost completely over strep throat and the rash. Thank goodness!

Easter Weekend

So... Easter weekend didn't go quite as we had planned. Coleson and I went with my mom and sister to my grandparents house Saturday. My mom took his Easter happy with us and he had fun opening it.
On the way home, we noticed that Coleson didn't look like he felt good. By the time we made it back, he was running fever. He woke up Sunday sick so we had to stay home from church, easter dinner and hunting eggs. I was so bummed out. The Easter Bunny was good to the kids this year.

Coleson had fun seeing what he got.

He started feeling better yesterday afternoon so we took him outside to play. He loves to be outside and will stand at our back door and cry to go out. He goes straight to a bucket of baseballs and empties it.

Abbey and Brandon got to see what they got yesterday afternoon when they came home.

Coleson woke up this morning still feeling bad so I took him to the doctor. He has strep throat and got a shot so hopefully he will be better soon. We hope everyone had a great Easter.

Dennis and I had our usual Mexican dinner date last night and we were so excited when some friends came to meet us. We love spending time with them and Coleson and Stella Grace love playing with each other. Coleson was throwing food on the floor while Stella Grace was shoving the rice in her mouth with both hands. They had food all over the floor. Stella Grace calls Coleson, CoCo, and it is so funny. Sadie Leigh decided that she was going to go lay on two chairs and she looked like a little model.

We hope everyone has a great weekend. Happy Easter!

This one's for you...

I am SOOO glad that this week is a short work week. Whoo Hoo!!!! I love having long weekends. That means extra time to love on my baby and some good quality time with the hubs! We mostly have to see each other through a fence these days at the ball fields but we love this time of the year and Coleson loves to be outside as well. I don’t really have much to post about today. I will have lots of pictures after our fun filled weekend. The Easter bunny comes in a few days to see the kiddos. He will not disappoint this year and Dennis and I enjoyed filling the baskets. I will leave you with a picture of my sweet baby. My mom gets very upset if she looks at my blog and I don’t have new pictures posted. So this one’s for you Grammie….

Giveaway....

Go on over to SheSheBows for your chance to win a $20.00 gift card. I sure did!

Baseball time....

Baseball season has officially started at our house. Brandon had his first game last night and did a great job. Daddy and I are so proud of you.

The first hit of the season was caught on video. The sun was directly in our eyes so it is hard to see.

And this is what this little guy did the entire time. I was so glad that my mom and sister were there to help chase him around. He is on the go at all times these days.

Pictures anyone....

I am so excited that a friend of mine is now taking pictures as a fun hobby. She will be taking lots of pictures of our three little models. I love having pictures of our kids made and now I will get to have LOTS of them taken. She has a blog that will show some examples of her work. Check it out at www.jennanassarphotography.blogspot.com. I’m sure she would love to take pictures of your little ones as well.

We had another great weekend that was really busy as usual. Friday night we went and ate supper with some friends of ours. We ended up seeing another girl that we both knew so they joined us as well. It was fun but quite interesting with 5 kids all under 3. Whew, I was tired just watching them all. Oh and we are officially the family that people are going to run when they see us coming and never invite us out to eat. Coleson was HORRIBLE. He did not want to sit in his high chair and wanted to throw food all over the floor. We will be the family sitting in the corner by ourselves from now on. :)
Saturday morning we got up and Coleson and Dennis watched Veggie Tales and then it was off to Abbey's scrimmage game.

My mom and I went shopping afterwards and then we met up with some more friends for crawfish. Yummy!
Yesterday was another day of softball/ baseball. Abbey had practice and Brandon had a scrimmage game. Brandon is doing AWESOME this year so far. He is really getting into baseball and I think he is going to love it just as much as his daddy.

I found this picture of Brandon saved on my computer and it reminded me of the recent picture of Coleson on his 4-wheeler. How cute are these!

Yep, Momma sees you

Coleson can't stand for anything to be in place and is constantly in to everything. Me, on the other hand, has to have everything in place at ALL times. I have given up on the DVD's and pick them up at night after he is in the bed unless I decide to put them back so that he can pull them out again. He loves to throw things so he slings the DVD's all over our room. We hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and an even better weekend.

Our New Thing...

This is the way Coleson likes to drink his milk now. He gets is everywhere and he thinks its funny. I had to change his clothes twice last night in an hour. When I took his cup away, he got mad. He definitley has an attitude. I can't imagine where he got that from. :)

Weekends Don't Get Any Better Than This....

We had a really fun weekend that was jam packed. We went to a cookout for my dad's birthday Friday night and ate some good food. Several couples were there and a good time was had by all. We woke up Saturday and headed to Starkville. We don't miss a chance to see our bulldogs play. We stopped in the Lodge and shopped and even played around some. Abbey and Brandon had fun trying on the crazy hats.

Coleson even enjoyed playing with the stuffed animals.

Abbey played too.

The kids had a great time at the game. This was their first time to watch a bulldog basketball game and they weren't disappointed. Well maybe a little since we didn't win but it was a really close game with lots of action.

Abbey even jumped up on her feet a few times.

We let the boys sit in the really good seats and the girls took the seats way up high.
Can you find them? They are about the fourth row up from the court.
Brandon got a new hat. This is the one the baseball players wear. Why do they like the bill straight? Who knows!

Last night Abbey had a Common Gound performance at chruch. What a great way to end the weekend. Our week is full of baseball and softball practice. We are busy little bees.

Just of few pictures that I took of Coleson last night. He was in such a good mood.

Coleson loves Rascal. He is the first person Coleson looks for when he wakes up in the morning and starts pointing and saying dog. BTW - Coleson has a new word this week... Thank you. It is so cute how he says it.

This is how Coleson sleeps every night. He uses his bumper pad as a pillow.

We have another busy weekend ahead of us. I am so thankful for my weekends.... no work, all play! We have a surprise for Abbey and Brandon. Maybe a little road trip in the works. :)
