Playing Catch Up

We have been so busy lately that I haven't had much time to blog. So, I will try and catch up with lots of pictures. Abbey and Brandon are still playing lots of baseball and softball. Abbey's tournament team has had several tournaments. Coleson and I have had sinus infections that we are trying to get over. He was grumpy for a few days but hopefully we are passed all that. Abbey has high school softball tryouts this week and we wish her the best of luck. Enjoy lots of pictures below.

Mother's Day

Today has been a great day and I am so blessed to have 3 children and a wonderful husband to spend it with. First off, Dennis let me sleep until 9:00 this morning. Coleson woke up with the chickens at 6:00 and I went back to bed for some much needed sleep. He did wake up feeling better so that was a great way to start the day. We picked Abbey and Brandon up this afternoon and went to my parents house and ate supper. There is nothing better than ending the day with all four people that you love more than anything else in this world.

Coleson loves ice just like his Momma.

When we left tonight, the kids had my parents dog in Coleson's car seat. She was ready to go home with us.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms and moms-to-be! :) It is the best gift that God has ever given me.

A Day at the Zoo

Dennis and I took Coleson to the zoo this afternoon. I wanted a weekend full of fun things with my sweet little boy. He wasn't feeling good and once we had seen everything he started to feel really bad. I knew he was sick when he didn't try to get out of his stroller. This never happens. Lots of pictures below. I have a new camera so I had fun playing with it.

These monkeys were so cute. Notice the little baby beside its Momma? It was born in March. It walked up and put its arm around her. How sweet!

Coleson ended up falling asleep towards the end.

I hate is when Coleson is sick. I constantly worry about him. So hopefully he will feel better soon. He slept most of the afternoon but was still running fever tonight. Happy Mother's Day to all you moms and moms-to-be. It is definitely a special gift from God and I love my sweet children so much.

Fun at the Park

My sister picked Coleson up from daycare yesterday. They went to her house and waited on my mom and they took him to the park and to eat at Trace Grill. He loves when his Aunt Befie picks him up. His teacher told me that he goes crazy when he sees her. He had fun and my sister tries to pick him up at least once a week.

Some of the softball moms decided to go eat mexican food last night while the dads and girls had practice. What a perfect night... Cinco De Mayo! The guys met us afterwards to join the fun. Coleson had fun running around outside and getting lots of attention from the girls. I am always looking for an excuse to eat chips and salsa. My fav!!!

This week is teacher's appreciation week so I got Coleson's teachers a little happy. I hated to give them all away because they looked so good. We are so thankful for everything his teachers do for him. It sure makes our weeks easier knowing that he is at a place that loves him and spoils him just like us!

Weekend Fun

Friday night we met some friends at Mugshots and ate a hamburger. It was so good and alot of fun. The kids had a good time too.

Brandon had a baseball game Saturday morning and Abbey had a softball tournament in Pearl. I took Brandon to his game and Dennis took Abbey. Brandon played awesome and it was definitely the best game yet. Very intense and they WON!

Abbey's tournament ended up getting rained out so we went home and rested and then went to eat at Cock of the Walk.

This afternoon the kids watched a movie while Dennis and I cooked supper. I was surprised that Coleson watched it but he was so tired. He had his nap in the car today so it was short. He let his sister hold him while they watched it.

He fell asleep and we had to wake him up to eat.

We hope everyone had a good weekend. Our week slows down some so maybe we will have time to catch up on some things. I have lots of sewing projects waiting on me.
