House Renovations

A few months ago when Dennis and I found out that we were pregnant, we had to figure out where the baby was going to go once it was here. We talked about selling the house, putting the baby in our room for a few months, or inclosing our dining room and making a nursery. We definitley knew that we would not put the baby in with Brandon and that Abbey and Brandon would not be sharing a room. We both knew that it was not fair to them just because another sibling was being added to the family and that we would do whatever needed to be done to keep this from happening. They are both at the age where they need their own space. So after much thought, we decided to inclose the dining room. We decided to make it look like a dining room as much as possible so that when we put the house on the market it can be sold as a dining room still. We both want one more child (after Coleson; yes, I know we are crazy) so a 5 bedroom house was a little too big right now and we didn't want to move now and then have to move again in a few years. The project is finally complete with the exception of a few door knobs, new light, and pictures hung on the wall. My house was upside down for a few weeks, but it was definitely worth the trouble. I love the way it has made the house look and I am excited that all 3 kids will have their own space. All that is left to do now is get the nursery ready. The crib is on back order (and has been since August) but should be shipped in the next few weeks. The fun part is about to begin.
